Abdelaziz Asad

General Manager Arkan

Abdelaziz Asad is the General Manager of Arkan. He served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer at Arkan between 2020 and 2021. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Arkan.

Eng. Asad brings three decades of experience in the building materials industry. He is the UAE representative and a board member at the Arab Union for Cement and Building Materials.

Eng. Asad started his career at one of Arkan’s subsidiaries, the Emirates Cement Factory, in 1991 as an electrical engineer, and quickly advanced within the organisation, becoming General Manager of Al Ain Cement Factory.

He holds a Master of Quality Management (MQM) from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology degree from Colorado Technical, U.S.A.
