Participating in a panel discussion on ‘The State of the Steel Industry in the GCC Region’, Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of Arkan and CEO of Emirates Steel, highlighted the steel market challenges preceeding the COVID-19 pandemic, and how intense the situational challenges all manufacturers around the globe experience during the pandemic.
He added by stressing that without taking calculating and serious steps towards economic diversification, the volatility of the situation will never disperse and stay for a while.
