HE Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies (MoIAT), will deliver a keynote speech during the event, highlighting the opportunities offered by the MEIS this year, and the Ministry’s progressive vision to develop the UAE’s industrial sector and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies.
Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of Arkan and CEO of Emirates Steel is also participating in a panel discussion on ‘The State of the Steel Industry in the GCC Region’. Discussions will include Middle East market outlook and challenges, drivers of economic growth and steel consumption, market changes, among other strategic topics.
